Hailey McGarrity is a senior in the Honors College pursuing both an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and a certificate in Sustainability. She is a board member of Pitt Green Fund, a small group of undergraduate students that fund and support projects and programs on campus that prioritize Sustainability. She also has worked on an undergraduate research project within Pitt’s Environmental Science department, is currently in Dr. Laaser’s lab, and she hopes to work on sustainable polymer solutions in the future. In her free time, she loves to read, swim, and spend time with friends outdoors.
