John Halsall

John Halsall is a sophomore from New Jersey pursuing a major in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Geology. This is his first semester with MCSI, but in his hometown along the Jersey Shore he has both worked with Clean Ocean Action on a variety of initiatives to help educate the public on ocean conservation issues and has also conducted research on pollution in the Sandy Hook area. At Pitt, he is involved with the Rock Climbing and Hydroponics clubs and, in his free time, enjoys reading, sewing (mostly repurposing old clothing), rollerblading, and running.
