Laura Jellum is the Assistant Director of Communications for the University of Pittsburgh’s Sustainability team, including the Office of Sustainability, Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation, and sustainability communications across the University.
Laura brings 14 years of marketing and communications leadership experience to Pitt, including promoting public health programs, community initiatives, and human services in nonprofit and healthcare sectors. Her skills includes strategic planning, integrated campaign management, content creation, digital marketing, volunteer mobilization and training, media relations, event execution, data analytics, and reporting. She has worked with Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) partner organizations and with Food Forward (Southern California’s largest produce recovery organization, which works to increase food equity and reduce food waste).
